What’s your role at Carlisle Youth Zone?

Rural Outreach Manager.This means I am looking ways to make CYZ being accessible to all.  I am looking at transport, ways to deliver the CYZ experience, with existing youth centres rurally or maybe where there are no youth clubs at all.  I grew up in a Carlisle Village so I remember how difficult it was sometimes to get where I wanted to be.

A funny fact about yourself?

I can’t remember my original hair colour as I have been colouring it since I started going grey AARGH! At 21!

Your favourite thing?

I just recently went white water rafting in Scotland it’s something I had always wanted to do and would love to do it again maybe in the Grand Canyon in USA. 

What is the best thing about Carlisle Youth Zone?

The best thing about CYZ is it is totally unique! It’s never been done before and all young people whether they live in Carlisle or a village can take part and help develop CYZ into what they want it to be.
