Inclusion Project
Project aims:
The Inclusion Project offers support to young people with disabilities and additional needs and provides the chance to come and enjoy the facilities in offer at Carlisle Youth Zone in a safe controlled and comfortable environment.
Project age group:
Open to any Carlisle Youth Zone member between the ages of 8 and 25
Project Clubs:
The Saturday Club
This club runs from 10am till 1pm every Saturday morning. The club is for those young people that do not feel ready or not wanting to attend the main stream busier clubs, a chance to come down and enjoy the zone and its activities in a quieter less chaotic environment.
Parents and carers are also welcome to stay and enjoy the zone with the young people should one to one support be needed.
The club offers its members the same activities as the main stream clubs, which include:
- Climbing
- Archery
- Art and Crafts
- Numerous sports
- Rec area, including pool and table tennis
Weekday Clubs
The Inclusion Project runs throughout all the clubs at Carlisle Youth Zone so weather it is the Junior or Senior club that you want to attend, we will be on hand to offer addiotnal support to make your time here as enjoyable as possible.
