Senior Club

Please note that during term time until Christmas the Tuesday Senior night club session will run from 3.30pm – 9pm, with the Friday night sessions running from 3.30pm -10pm. From 3.30pm-6.30pm you will be able to come down and chill out, with the full senior club activities beginning at 6.30pm.

Interested in games? Interested in sports? Interested in music? You will be interested in Carlisle Youth Zone’s senior club night then!

Carlisle Youth Zone is a brand new facility for all young people which includes a youth cafe, sports hall, performing arts room, astro turf, and a computer room with internet access. It costs just 50p a session and with never less than 25 activities going on at any one time, it is more than just a youth club.

New sessions for Senior Club members available from 1 October -

 

  • Gym open 3.30-6.30 – this is open to 16+ Senior Club members only, bring your 50p as usual
  • Carlisle College Lunch Club – Open to anyone 16+
  • Wednesday Project Night – individual activities have different restrictions – please see here for details
  • Saturday Night Session – Open to 15+ Senior Club members only. These will run till 10pm, and will run till midnight for special occasions.
  • Wednesday – come down from 4-8pm to come down, take part in a project or get stuck into the other activities available.

On top of these new sessions there is still the opportunity to

  • pool/table tennis/table football
  • remote controlled car racing
  • break dancing
  • archery
  • climbing wall
  • boxing fitness room
  • gym
  • DJ workshops
  • music room for band practice
  • Wii, PS3, XBox
  • arts and crafts
  • graffiti wall
  • get involved in CYZ radio
  • produce a newsletter…and more

Not interested in any of those?…What about meeting up with your friends and making new ones at the youth cafe? And don’t miss out on the opportunity to sign up for short courses such as “introduction to bicycle maintenance” or “environmental awareness”.

Still not interested? Then let us know what you like doing or would like to do, because the youth zone is for you. If you have ideas for activities or projects we would like to hear about them and work towards making them happen. The Youth Zone wants you to be part of it’s continuing development.
