Lego Competition 2025 Winners Announced

Now in its fifth year, the CYZ annual Lego® Competition run in partnership with our amazing Patron – local architects Unwin Jones Partnership – has proven as popular as ever. With over 100 incredible entries from local young people submitted, the judges not only had to split one of the age categories in to two, but also added a range of Special Awards to make sure the creativity and skill on display was fully recognised. Designs had been submitted from Lego® workshops held during CYZ Youth Clubs and Summer Zone holiday club sessions as well as opportunities facilitated by the brilliant Brick Station in Denton Holme and even entries from young people participating from home!

This year’s theme was to Build Your Dream Island with 5 Special Features, with Unwin Jones Partnership providing a fantastic range of Lego themed prizes alongside a Lego Master Prize of a PS5 Console!

And the results are in! With the top three and special award winners coming together on Monday 15th September 2025 for a special celebration event with their parents and carers.
