About the Competition
The theme of this competition is buildings, architecture or your dream house (on Earth, Mars or your own fantasy world!)
This competition starts Monday 19th July and will run across the Summer Holidays. The closing date is Thursday 12th August.
Age Groups
- 7 AND UNDER
- 8-12 YEARS
- 13-18 YEARS
To enter, please complete the entry form below!
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each age group.
The best entry will be named as ‘THE LEGO MASTER’ and win a PS5!!!
**One entry per person**
Complimentary pass to the Brick Station for every entry.
Winners of 7 and under and 8-12years will receive a party for 5 guests.

Carlisle Youth Zone Lego Competition 2021
Terms & Conditions
WHO
Categories for age groups:
- 7 & under,
- 8-12 and
- 13-18 year olds.
Free entry (1 entry per person).
WHAT
Create your Lego model of any building (existing or imaginary), piece of architecture or your dream house on Earth, Mars or a galaxy far, far away!
Your model can be any size, but it must be clear what your building is representing.
HOW
Entry forms can be collected from and returned to Carlisle Youth Zone or BrickStation Carlisle. All submissions must be received by 12th August 2021
Paper entries will need to be accompanied with up to 5 photographs of your creation and your name, contact details and description of model.
Alternatively, the entry form can be downloaded from www.carlisleyouthzone.org/legocomp where you can also upload your entry. You will need to provide your name, contact details and description of your model. You can provide upto 5 photographs of your Lego build, one of which could be a video tour of your amazing model.
One photo MUST include entrant with their completed model.
Please note: By submitting an entry you are consenting to your photos being used in publicity of the event. Parent or Guardian consent will be required for under all 16 entrants.
WHERE
You can build your model at home, at Carlisle Youth Zone (if you are a Member) or in BrickStation, Carlisle (Small entry charge applies).
WHEN
Closing date for entries: Thursday 12th August 2021
Judging commences: Monday 16th August 2021
Announcements: Friday 27th August 2021
Prize Presentation: Friday 3rd September 2021
Winners will be invited to CYZ for presentation and photographs (Covid restrictions allowing).
Judges decision is final, judging panel to consist of a team from Carlisle Youth Zone, Unwin Jones Partnership & BrickStation Carlisle.
WHY
Have fun and win prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group and a chance to win a PS5 if you are crowned Lego Master!
All entrants to the competition will be granted a complimentary session pass for a free visit to BrickStation.
