Unwin Jones, a local architectural company, and a Carlisle Youth Zone Patron is sponsoring the CYZ Lego® Competition for the fifth year running! A competition that has become really popular amongst young people locally.
The Lego® competition for 2025 launches on 18th July and will run until 29th August 2025. This year’s theme is to build your Dream Island with 5 special features.
Age categories are:
– 6 years & below
– 7-11 years
– 12-18 years
Grand Prize: A PS5 Console Plus, there are fantastic runner-up prizes!
1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category – plus any special awards such as best video?
How to Participate:
- CYZ Members: Join a Lego® workshop during youth or holiday club sessions at Carlisle Youth Zone
- Public Entries: Visit the Brick Station in Denton Holme or participate from home if you have Lego® available.
Submit your entries by scanning the QR code on the posters, complete your details, and upload images of your design.
The competition is open to CYZ Members as well as non-members. If you’d like to enter via a CYZ Lego workshop, come down to your chosen club session and participate in our Lego® workshops running throughout the school holidays for only 50p entry to club!*
- Juniors (7-11 yrs) – Monday and Thursday 17.30-20.30, Saturday 13.30-15.30
- Seniors (12-18 yrs) – Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 18.30-21.00
Young people are also be able to enter by visiting the Brick Station, Denton Holme.
